Firstly, welcome to Shetrader, it’s nice to meet you. I initially created this site to assist in my own journey as a share trader, but along the way discovered that one of the most helpful ways to gain knowledge as a beginner new to trading, is having the opportunity to follow real people share trading and learn first hand from their experiences, strategies and even mistakes.
Why ‘SHE’trader – well it’s also been noted that women trade much differently to men. For example men can encounter overconfidence, overtrading and aggression when trading. Whereas, we tend to face our own gender specific trading challenges, including a lack of confidence and the need to share or discuss our results. Coupled with the fact that trading seems to be a male dominated activity, I decided it might be beneficial to create a site where women can share, help and educate each other in a supportive environment – hence Shetrader began.
You can follow along with my trades as I post my entries and exits regularly in my trading blog. A word of warning however, read the disclaimer and be sure to remember I’m not an experienced trader by any means – so utilise any information and trades posted at your own risk.
To learn more about my trading background you can read my author profile. I’d also like to invite you (yes, YOU) to join the community by submitting articles or creating your own blog so you can share your journey and along the way help others learn from your experiences in the share market.
Remember, always plan your trade and trade your plan….
